Highlands Lacrosse Association held its first annual Fall Combine Event on Sunday November 17th at Northern Highlands Regional High School. Close to 160 registrants competed in a range of events testing speed, agility, and fundamental lacrosse skills such as shooting and ground balls. Players in 6th, 7th and 8th grades had the opportunity to tour the recently upgraded athletic facilities and new fieldhouse.
Special thanks to Kyle Ojakian, Head Coach of the Northern Highlands Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, members of both the Boys and Girls Varsity Lacrosse Teams, our youth coaches and HLA board members for their roles in organizing and overseeing the event. We look forward to making the Combine Event a regular part of the HLA program.
